Their public-facing platform, Scotland Starts Here, is where potential visitors – as well as travel agents and tour operators – go for information on where to stay, where to eat, and what to do.

Right now, Galashiels is not well represented on this platform. That means visitors searching for ideas may not discover the brilliant restaurants, pubs, attractions, and accommodation we have here. To change that, we need more local businesses to get involved.

The good news is it’s easy – and affordable – to take part. Every tourism and hospitality business can create a free listing on Scotland Starts Here, ensuring your business is visible to potential visitors. Even better, a basic membership at £85 per year unlocks greater visibility and benefits, helping you stand out to the thousands of people planning their trips.
