Learning at Work Week Comes to Galashiels

We’re excited to share that Learning at Work Week 2026 will be coming to Galashiels this May (18–22 May 2026).

This is a national initiative designed to celebrate and promote learning in the workplace. As part of this, there is a wide range of free national activity available, and we would encourage businesses and their teams to sign up and take advantage of these opportunities.

Alongside this, we’ll also be delivering a locally focused programme right here in Galashiels - designed specifically for our business community.

What makes this different is that the local activity will be shaped by you. The programme will be informed by insights gathered through our recent business survey, ensuring it reflects what local businesses want and need. 

At this stage, we are analysing feedback from the business survey and will be developing a programme of activity to suit - full details will follow soon.

For now, we’d encourage you to save the date (18–22 May 2026) and look out for further updates. This is a great opportunity to access national learning resources, take part in local activity, and connect with other businesses across Galashiels.
