Important Conversations: Working with SOSE

On Friday, Lewis, Jay and Mags met with Russel Griggs OBE, Chair of South of Scotland Enterprise (SoSE) and Kate Musgrave, Head of Enterprising Communities, to continue building a strong working relationship between the regional enterprise agency and the Galashiels business community.

Through conversations with levy payers, we know many businesses are keen to better understand how to connect with SoSE and access the support they offer. One of our priorities has been helping create clearer lines of communication and ensuring that Galashiels businesses have a voice and are firmly on the radar at a regional level.

The meeting was a valuable opportunity to discuss the opportunities and challenges facing the town, share insight from local businesses, and explore how SoSE can continue to support enterprise, growth and investment in Galashiels.

We will continue working closely with SoSE and partners to make sure businesses in Galashiels are aware of the support available and have a clear point of contact when they need it.
