Claire Dalgleish has joined BID for Galashiels as our new part-time Project Coordinator, starting at the beginning of the month.
Claire is an experienced operations and project professional with over 15 years’ experience supporting organisations to run smoothly, manage change and deliver projects effectively.
Based in Galashiels, she also runs her own business, Concentrated Support, working closely with local SMEs, including several BID levy payers. This gives her valuable insight into the opportunities and challenges facing businesses in the town.
Claire brings a calm, structured and people-focused approach, with experience across project coordination, governance support, stakeholder communications, event delivery and operational management. She has previously worked in senior roles for national and international organisations, supporting leadership teams and managing complex projects.
In her role with BID for Galashiels, Claire will support project delivery, communications, governance, coordination and member engagement, helping keep work progressing and businesses informed.
Claire will be available Monday to Friday for four hours each day, supporting the BID team and the delivery of ongoing projects and initiatives.
